CitiCredit - bastards
« on: March 05, 2011, 06:21:50 PM »
I've been running credit reports on CitiCredit.net for several years; lately they've been increasng their prices, and today I log in and I get big red text:

This account has reached the limit for the number of reports that can be run. This limit is established for fraud prevention.

Please call customer support at (800) 710-2484 or email info@citicredit.net to upgrade your account.

cant get in - I need another credit report source

I have stayed away from ntn because all I want is to see the data, and make my own decision. They make a recommendation, but I do not see all the collection data and accounts that I want to see (am used to)

Other LL sites direct me to a site inspection-type account, and others jack kme into a report package that costs more than my $35 app fee.

GGGRRRRRRRR!! What the hell do I do now? Change my ways?

actually Steve-WA..., NTN offers two levels of service.

I use the one with the FULL Credit report that provides all that good stuff details....

may want to take another look.

With NTN, it is all what you choose.
Here is a new one I just heard of, www.MySmartMove.com

I used the SmartMove - its ok

you put in the property address, your info and CC info, then your applicants email address - they email them, ask them for their info and their authorization for me to run the report (credit and criminal and assessment for $30), then I get it in the email.

I'll use it again unless I can get my CitiCredit crap uncrapped

..and when the topic beeped in on my cell phone this afternoon I was SURE I would find T as the author of this post!

mysmartmove.com looks like a very viable option for the landlord that only checks credit a few times a year.. Spendy at $30 per report.. But no account sign up, office inspection hassles.

You're just the loudest, T. 8)

The inspection isn't that big of a deal, Steve but it's whatever you are comfortable with. If you do the inspection it's only one time and it gets you cheaper reports. I'm all for cheaper.
